It has been a year Paul, and still I meet people whose lives you've touched for the better. At times I'm at a loss to express appreciation for their good memories and condolences, or to find words of consolation for those grieving.
--
Don?t think of him as gone away,
his final journey has just begun,
life holds so many opportunities,
this earth is only one.
Just think of him as free,
from the sorrows and the tears,
in our Lord's warmth and comfort,
where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing,
that we could know today,
how nothing but our sadness,
can really pass away.
And think of him as living,
in the hearts of those he touched...
for nothing loved is ever lost,
and he was loved so much.

Athough Paul and I hadn't yet met in person; the conversations we had made it very clear what a kind and positive person he was. Listening to the eulogy's at his service only reinforced that impression as well as gave me a better glimpse into his life. I know Paul will miss all of you as much as you miss him. I truly regret that our meet did not take place before this awful event. Paul will nontheless be in my heart. If only there had been more time. I guess we all wish for that. My sincerest condolonces to family and friends.

Our family is so very sorry to hear about Paul, we have you all in our thoughts and prayers.
There are wonderful childhood memories of both our families together in Thornhill and then visiting back and forth in Fort Erie and Georgetown. I had the pleasure of attending high school with Paul in Fort Erie. Paul was one of the few people that i was able to really call a friend. Many years have passed since we have met or talked, but when i think of high school memories, Paul is fondly remembered in every one of them. My condolences to Pauls family, may he rest in peace.

Dear Paul,
As brothers, we were due for our ups and downs. I've always wanted the best for you, and you wouldn't let anyone near unless you were at your best. We challenged each other, and were the better for it. Though a path took you away for a short while, we're still brothers in blood and in Christ. Thank you for the memories, the smiles and some tears. Thank you for trusting me, that no matter what or where, I'd go the distance for you. Will see you again, and you can show me around the new digs.
