Obituary of Marilyn Astrid Hardie

Hardie : Marilyn Marilyn passed away on November 8th, 2013 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital in her 71st year. Proud mother of James (Cecilia) Hardie and Jennifer (Chris) Neylan. Cherished step-mother of Sandie Heckel, Carolyn Hardie, Brenda Hardie, and Colleen Hardie. Cherished grandmother of Brandon, Matthew, Evelyn, Liam and her step-grandchildren Marta, Caylen, Charlotte, Jessie, Owen and Keifer. Also survived by her sister Jenny Comonos. Marilyn had a well known love of cats, and is also survived by her beloved feline companions Pagina and Oscar. Marilyn's love of music was a constant throughout her life. As a teacher, her positive manner and dedication was passed along to her students, both home and abroad. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 12th, from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. If so desired, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
