We are saddened to hear of Marilyn's passing. She was a very special lady to us. She was passionate about life and enjoyed a good laugh. We spent many heart warming times together in Fort Erie and Quito. We will not forget the card games, the trip to Galpagos, visiting the Niagra region, the love she had for her cats( Pagina is a product of Quito) and our frequent telephone conversations. We will miss your presence and the positive spirit you shared with everyone. We loved you mucho! Les and Will xo

P.S. How could I forget to mention the glorious Magnolia tree in her back yard, or playing piano duets with her, or her cats? And that wonderful voice? Marilyn, you will be so missed!

Jennie and Jamie, and your families, and all the step-kids who contributed to Marilyn's warm & lovely family - I'm so sorry to hear that she's gone. Marilyn was so smart, witty, warm, affectionate and honest - one of my favorite people in the world. There is just nobody like her. I'm glad I got to visit with her in Ft. Erie a few times after we both left Quito. She was really happy there, I know.

Marilyn was a beautiful person and an outstanding educator. For so many of us who worked in the North York Board of Ed., we were priviledged to have the opportunity to work with her and bring her love of music to our students.
She is gone too soon!

I loved Marilyn. She was always open to new ideas, adored children, and her laughter was infectious. I worked for many years with her in the LTTA program and found in her a soul-mate, visiting at odd times because she would always listen. She loved her family most of all and was filled with warm stories. I use her Music Builders books in my classroom and will miss her friendship, love, support, music, and inspiration.
