Obituary of Carmela Maulucci
Maulucci, Carmela
May 19, 1934 – April 18, 2024
The family of Carmela Maulucci wish to share that their sweet loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her 90th year. She is reunited with her beloved husband Joseph (1986) and her much loved son Pat (2011).
She was a guiding light to her children: Connie (Maurice), Mary (Stephen) and Joe (Sharlene), and will continue to be. A special place in her heart was held for her grandchildren: Mike (Claudia), Emily (Jason), Francesca (Aaron) and Nick (Jessica), not forgetting to mention her loveable pets that always stayed close to her side.
She will be missed by family (sisters-in-law) and relatives, nieces, and nephews, especially our family in Milan. She was blessed with many close friends and their families.
We are comforted in knowing that she is reunited with her parents and cherished brother, and all the family members and close friends that have gone before her.
Carmela embraced her journey at an early age and vowed to create the best life she could. She savored every opportunity to learn new things and shared with all, be it baking, sewing, knitting, gardening, knowledge, prayer, and songs.
Besides her work at Irvin Industries, she joined and volunteered with many organizations: CWL, St. Michael’s prayer group and choir, Crescent Park and Maple Park Lodge, arts and crafts, and any ministry that she could, trying to enrich the lives that needed support.
A special thank you to the loved staff at Villa Forum for their unmatched care and to a lengthy list of health care providers who assisted her in her journey. We will not forget.
She leaves behind a big hole that will be filled with cherished memories.
The depth of her love was immeasurable. She will be in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to help research Dementia and Alzheimer’s, or a charity of your choice.
Benner Funeral Home in Fort Erie has been entrusted with the arrangements.
A visitation will commence on Friday April 26th, 2024 from 10:30 AM until the time of the service in the Benner Chapel at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fort Erie.
