Aunt Marion was Very special to me! She made many trips to Florida with Uncle Willy and we had so many laughs. She made me an afghan back in the 1980's which I still treasure. She was always in the kitchen making something delicious-my favorites were her butter tarts, and I can still remember the taste of them now! I loved how she had chocolate milk for everyone at the holidays which was a big treat for me when I was a kid! I treasure our phone conversations! She was always talking about the kids and grandkids and the joy they brought her. She will always be in my mind and will greatly be missed. I am so sorry for your loss. Much Love, Patricia Koehler

To Marions Family,
Marion was one of my favourite people. I’ll always remember the conversation we had over the years while I was doing her hair. I will miss her dearly.
She loved her family get-togethers, she used to tell me how much she loved hearing the laughter and the giggles when you all got together, no matter how old you got. So my wish for your family is that you continue to do that in honour of her … I’m sure she’ll hear it and have a big smile on her face.
I feel like I know you, even though I haven’t met all of you. She used to talk so lovingly about you all during our time together when I did her hair. She was the first person. besides my family to hold my daughters . That’s where I first met her at Dr. Leung office, she was an excellent receptionist, baker and Afghan maker. I was fortunate enough to be a recipient of her baked goods. She made the best Christmas cutouts ever. I remember her telling me when she would start a new afghan , who it was for and why she was making it . Sometimes it was because someone wore one out or she was expecting another grandchild and had to make sure it was done for their arrival .
Marianne was truly a lady and will be missed by all who knew her may she be greeted in the arms of Wilf, the love of her life and rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends
