Dear Coleen and family. What can we say? Since we learned of Greg's illness a couple of months ago, we prayed regularly for his healing and for God's peace to surround all of you. To a much smaller degree, we now sense the loss his passing is to everyone who knew and loved him. Be assured of our continuing prayer support for our Lord's comfort and assurance of His presence with you as you pass through this season of grieving. All our love and much blessing, John & Barbara.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Greg's passing. I had the privilege of working alongside Greg in his YFC days in Tillsonburg when I was a young and green youth pastor. I learned from Greg and Colleen as they allowed me to come alongside them on camping trips, countless discussions, and activities. Greg and I co-coached high school girls volleyball together (although he was the real strategist and seasoned coach) and I don't think I ever laughed so much as we did together on volleyball tourney road trips. Greg loved Jesus, he loved his family, and he loved people....in that order and his life impacted mine in countless ways. To his family I say sorry for your loss. You shared your husband and dad with many others including me, and for that we are grateful for knowing him. God bless you and praying with you as your grieve. I imagine Greg entering heaven, seeing Jesus and hearing those words, "Well done good and faithful servant."

Colleen and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Fid was a wonderful youth leader to me at Houghton BIC. He certainly knew how to laugh, but could be caring, serious, and sensitive as well. I will always have fond memories of him. The slideshow you put together is great :)

We have so many fond memories with Greg and the whole family. We walked through many challenging times together when life wasn’t so straight forward and shared many a laugh with Greg’s infectious humour. Yet most of all we are so grateful that Greg gave us his friendship and opened a door for us to get to know and love his whole family. He was a great dad, who together with Colleen raised 3 incredible kids who were just as fun to be around and who had that infectious faith that was nurtured and encouraged at home. Inviting us to go to Camp, giving us Retreat Up, teaching us to water ski, watching him torture my sister-in-law when she tried to water ski and seeing the tears in his eyes after, was simply another profound kindness to us newly arrived Brits. Greg was always a “dad” wherever he found himself and the fruit of this will last for generations to come. We’ll miss you deeply Greg and send our love to you Colleen and your amazing family at this time
