Obituary of Werner Arends

At the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Friday February 12th, 2010 in his 84th year. Loving husband of 65 years to Ingeborg Arends. Sadly missed by daughters Angelika (Jan), Karin (Axel) and Heidi (Mark). Proud Grandfather of John, Jeannet, Marian, Caroline, Alexander, Justin, Karsten and Joshua. Sadly missed by his great grandchildren. Predeceased by his grandson Colin and his brothers and sisters. Werner was employed at Custom Pharmaceuticals (Patheon) as the Maintenance Manger. An active and proud member of the Scouts Canada, Werner earned his Wood Badge becoming a Gilwell Recipient, and went on to serve as scoutmaster and in various leadership positions including Split Rock District President Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. In keeping with Werner's wishes cremation has taken place.
