Obituary of Trudy Bombicino

Bombicino Waltraud "Trudy" On Friday, July 12, 2019 with her niece, Clara by her side and surrounded by the love of her Eventide family, Trudy was reunited with her late husband Frank (March 2018). Her memory will live on with her family, brother in law Joe (the late Giustina); sisters-in- law Mari a (Armando), Anna (Lucio), Onorina (the late Luigino) and Clara (the late Mario). She leaves her nephew Sam (Robynn) Bombicino, nieces Clara (John) Fisher and Joanne (Elio) Colarossi, as well as many other nieces and nephews, and their families. Trudy and Frank lived for 64 years in Fort Erie where they established a love of their community. Trudy's last few years were spent at Eventide Home in Niagara Falls, where she received compassionate and dignified care from the exceptionally caring and dedicated staff. Deepest gratitude to Major Renee Clarke for her kindness and empathy, and for selflessly devoting much love and tenderness to Trudy in her final days. Thanks are also extended to Dr Philip McGarry for his care and concern during her time at Eventide. . Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday July 15th from 5-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Salvation Army Eventide Home would be appreciated.
