Obituary of Mary Digiorgio

Surrounded by love, Mary passed away on Thursday November 1st at Douglas Memorial Hospital in her 93rd year. Mary will be missed by her loving husband and devoted caregiver Antonio DiGiorgio, who was always by her side. She is survived by four loving children Jim (Heather) Murray, Sharon and (the late Bob) Twidle, Raymond (Bette) Murray and Diana (Alistair) Gunn. She will be sadly missed by five loving grandchildren and also greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Mary was a beautiful, strong, loving woman whose generosity was felt by anyone who met her. We would like to thank Dr. Scher and all of the staff at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit for their dignified loving care. The family will receive friends on Monday November 5th from 12 noon until the time of services in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. If so desired, donations to the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for the benefit of Palliative Care or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
