Obituary of Emma Anna Carpenter

CARPENTER, EMMA ANNA - Born on February 1st ,1935 and peacefully passed away on February 16th, 2018 at Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. Daughter of the late Frank and Mary Nemeth. She is predeceased by her beloved son Stephen. Loving mother of Julianne (David W. Putman). Sadly missed by her chosen daughter Pamela (George) Mackie. "Gramma Em" to David A. Putman, Carly (Jeff) Placzek and son Gavin and Greta Rebstock. She is also survived by extended family in Budapest, Hungary, New York and Texas. Emma was a proud and dedicated employee of Douglas Memorial Hospital for nearly 50 years. Thank you to Dr. Scher and the dedicated staff at DMH who continue to provide compassion and care to our community. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Thursday February 22nd 2018 from 5-8 pm. A private family service will he held. In memory of Emma, those who wish may donate to Hospice Niagara.
