Dear Darlene, Please accept our deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband Blaine. Jack and Blaine go way back to their hockey days and have good memories of those times. As for me I will never forget the kindness and care Blaine would give to our daughter Catherine when she would travel on the train to Mississauga. I would always ask if Blaine was working and he would always take good care of her. I thank Blaine for that. God bless you and your family.

I knew Blaine quite well, from his hockey days with the Simcoe Blades, who won the OHA Junior C Championship in 1964-1965. Those playoffs with the Hespeler Shamrocks were the greatest hockey for two seasons . . . Bob Whitehead, Simcoe
