Obituary of Millie Fredo

Fredo: Carmella "Millie" Millie passed away on Monday, December 4th at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie. Survived by nieces and nephews Stephanie, Tim (Leslie), John, and Mike (Terry Lynn) Fredo, Cathy (Mark) Henry, John Mackechuk, and Krista (Shawn) Knox. Also survived by grand nieces and nephews Jessica, Sara, Alexandra, David, Kevin, Nolan, Marlo, Alden, Brady & Abby, and by her sister in law Stephanie (Dolly) Fredo. Predeceased by sister Felecia Mackechuk, brother Tony Fredo and by her parents John and Teresa Fredo. A lifelong resident of Fort Erie, Millie was well known in the community, through her time at Manpower Canada, her volunteering with Meals on Wheels, and through her connections with the local Italian community. Millie enjoyed cooking, winter trips to Florida and, most importantly, spending time with her family. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Friday December 15th from 2-4 &7-9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday December 16th at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery. If so desired, donations to Fort Erie Meals on Wheels or the Toronto Sick Children's Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
