Obituary of Carol Montironi

On Sunday May 19th, 2013 surrounded by her loving family Carol passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in her 73rd year. Loving wife of the late Vince Montironi. Loving mother of Richard, Teresa (Derrick) McGuigan and Anne Marie (Mike) Nevinger. Proud Grandma of Andrew, Melissa, Carli, Claire and Michael. Sadly missed by her brothers Fred (Margie) Barber and Bob (Lynn) Barber as well as many nieces, nephews and wonderful loving friends. Carol was a longtime employee of the Fort Erie Racetrack. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Rd., Fort Erie, Ontario entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 22nd, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church on Thursday May 23rd, at 11 o'clock. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
