It is with great saddness that I am writing this note. On Saturday 3/16/2013, I found out about the passing of my friend Willie, who I had known for over 40 years. I am sorry that I was not there to say a final good-bye and meet the family of the kindest man that I knew. I am glad however, that I was able to spend some time with you at the hospital a few weeks ago. You will be greatly missed, my friend.

A truly kind and gentle soul, always so lovely to us and as I saw over the years growing up a mere block from his lot, so gracious to others. It's sad and strange to see the cars being taken off the lot. Memories of home will always have Willy Joe and Willy Joe's Auto in it. Thank you, Willy! Rest well.

I worked with Willie in the 1970's at Pierre Pilote motors..He guided me and told me to go home when the blzzard blew into town in 1977. He never forgot me, and when we'd meet, there was always that big smile and firm handshake, RIP my dear friend.
