Obituary of Joyce Brix

Born in England on May 7th, 1916 Joyce passed away at Maple Park Lodge on January 22nd, 2013 in her 97th year surrounded by the love of her family. Wife of the late Frank Brix. Loving mother of Diane (Bill) Szollosy and Judy (Doug) Leonard of Fort Erie. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Christopher, David & Kevin Lopponen , Marc (Veronica) Leonard and Stephanie (Jim)Phibbs. Cherished great grandmother of Southern, Melanie & Matthew Lopponen and Andrew & Emily Leonard. Fondly remembered by her extended family Michael Szollosy and Sarah Dredge and their family in England and Robert Szollosy in Toronto Predeceased by her sister Beatrice and brother Ken. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends at St. Paul`s Anglican Church on Friday January 25th, from 11am until time of service in the church at 12 noon . Interment to follow in St Paul’s Churchyard. In memory of Joyce donations to St Paul`s Church (stained glass window restoration fund) would be appreciated by the family.
