Obituary of Steve Farkas

Farkas: Steve Steve passed away at the Welland Hospital on Friday October 19th, 2012 in his 76th year. A wonderful and loving husband to Loretta. Cherished father of Anita (Tony) Araujo and Stephen (Cindy) Farkas. Adored grandfather of Bishop and Hannah. Also survived by his extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his siblings. Steve was an active and proud member of the Optimist Club in Cambridge for many years. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangments. A service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held on Saturday October 27th at 11 am in the Benner Funeral Chapel. A luncheon will follow at People’s Memorial United Church Hall in Ridgeway from noon until 2 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to continue to show their support for the family during a time of visitation in the church sanctuary from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday October 27th. If so desired, donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
