Obituary of Wayne Corey

COREY - Wayne George - Passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital on Monday September 3, 2012 at the age of 65 years. Wayne Corey, beloved husband and best friend of Sandra Corey for 21 years. Loving father of Jodi, Tabatha, Jason, Stacy (Andy) and Kimberly. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Mathew, Samantha, Jeff Jr., Remy and Mitchel. Dear brother of Carol Nicholson, Faye Leppert (Ralph), Pam Porter (Dan), Sheila Lee (Chuck), Chris Corey (Tammy) and David and Richard Corey. Wayne will also be sadly missed by David Nash and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Beatrice, brother-in-law Ron Nicholson, niece Melanie Turner and his uncle Donald Renshaw. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie, entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 6-9 p.m. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday September 6th at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 310 Central Ave., Fort Erie. Reception in church hall will be followed by the Rite of Committal at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery, Port Colborne.
