Obituary of Tom Weir

Weir : Thomas Tom Weir passed away suddenly at his home on April 18th, 2012 in his 57th year. Loving husband of Julie. Cherished son of Thomas Sr. and the late Catherine. Sadly missed by his brother Stewart (Kathy) Weir, his niece Sarah, the members of the Buyers family Randy (Trish), Buddy (Jill), Carol (Al) Sanford, the late Michael their extended families and his many friends. Tom was well known in the horse racing community having worked as a Veterinarian Clerk for many years in Fort Erie and previously at Woodbine. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-3 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday morning at 11:30. Cremation will follow. Tom loved his pets Fuzzy and Smarty, so if desired, donations may be made to Vickki’s efforts in support of feline health. Information available through the funeral home.
