Obituary of Dorothy Baxter

Baxter: Dorothy Dorothy passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital on Sunday March 18th, 2012 with her family by her side. Loving wife of Alfred. Proud mother of John (Kay) Baxter, Judy (Andy) Anderson and Elizabeth Baxter. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Anderson, Adam (Marianne) Anderson Michael Baxter (Andrea McGee) and Kelly (David) Rode. Beloved great grandmother of Holly, Breelyn, Helena, Peyton and Emma. Sadly missed and much loved by her nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. You could always count on Dorothy to welcome you with the offer of a buttertart or cookie. She was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, and provided years of service to the Anglican Church Women. A life member of the Douglas Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, she will be fondly remembered by her fellow seniors at the Douglas Heights. Benner Funeral Services 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 and again at St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Thursday morning from 10 am until the time of service at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow in the churchyard. If so desired, donations to the St. Paul’s Anglican Church or CNIB would be appreciated by the family.
