Obituary of Hall Dorothy

Passed away peacefully at her residence, the Redstacks Retirement Home. Beloved wife of the late Donald Ream Hall, loving mother to Faye (Mike) and Joseph (Leanne) and grandmother to Gary (Kayla), Bryan, Hannah, Caleb and Danielle. Survived by sisters Anne (Peter), Francis (John), Rosemary, sister-in law Joanna and brother Con (Adele) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Geraldine (nee O’Connor), sisters Geraldine McFadden (Harold), Judy MacLean (Ron), and brother Bill. Dorothy, a fourth generation educator, influenced many young children during a successful elementary school teacher spanning nearly 40 years; of note from 1961 to 1994 Dorothy was with the Welland County Roman Catholic Separate School Board. During this time she obtained her BA from Brock University and volunteered many years with the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Always quick with her wit, no one was spared a pointed comment if we were out of line. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie, entrusted with arrangements. The family would like to thank the staff at Redstacks Retirement Home for providing a comfortable and friendly atmosphere and the staff and volunteers at the Welland General Hospital for all their care and attention during the years of dialysis.
