Obituary of J. Allan Reid

Reid: J. Allan J. Allan Reid passed away at Bella Senior Care Residence in Chippawa on Saturday December 10th, 2011 in his 80th year. Loving husband of Jeanette. Proud father of Ken (Florence) Reid and Janyce Reid. Loving grandfather of Kyle and Nicole. Sadly missed by sisters Helen and Maureen and his brother Lawrence. Predeceased by his brothers Douglas, Milton and William. Allan will be fondly remembered by his extended family, friends and the many students he touched during his long career as an educator. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. A Mass to celebrate Allan’s life will be offered at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Snyder, on Thursday December 15th at 11 am. A reception will follow at the Black Creek Leisure Homes Community Centre. If so desired, in lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to George Brown College Foundation D.L.S. or Bella Sr. Care Residents Council.
