Wilma and Family,
I am so sad to hear of Alec's passing. Alec was a true Pioneer in the Tim Hortons business. He was also very good at sharing the knowledge he had worked so hard to gain over many years.
When I joined the Tim Hortons chain in January of 1986 Alec was the first person to welcome me into the chain. He was also the only licencee to give me truly great advice. It is largely due to Alec's efforts that I have managed to be successful in this business. He taught me the basics, such as, 'Time to lean is time to clean." "Sit on the trash while you count the cash.", "Sometimes you need to front load your labour and production at a higher level than you think. Don't be surprsied when you reach this high level of sales." "This is a people business, you better like people or get the hell out!"
I miss him already.

Mr. Strom
You were always a person I enjoyed meeting with. You always had a smile and your funny jokes left me laughing well after visiting you. You will be missed.
Wilma, Christine, Rick and Family these are the days that we all must face at some time in our lives, it's never easy losing a family member. Time does heal all wounds and it will always hurt when thinking of the past but as long as you all have each other it will make it that much easier to remember.
