Davies: Sarah Carleton

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love and support of her family and friends on Sunday May 8th, 2011.

Loving wife of William Davies. Proud mother of Sarah Carleton (Thomas) Murray, Gwen (Edward) Anderson and William (Kathryn) Davies. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie, Amanda, Iain, David, Paige and Rachel. Sadly missed sister of Thomas Evans and sister in law of Irene Deanie and John Davies. Predeceased by her sister Jean Anderson. Sarah will be fondly remembered by her extended family in Canada and Scotland along with her many wonderful, lifelong friends.

Sarah was employed at the St. Catharines General Hospital for many years. She was an active woman, who loved to read, walk, travel and display her artistic talents through her paintings. She was an active member of Central Ave. United Church and a dedicated volunteer at Douglas Memorial Hospital.

Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Sarah’s life will take place in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Friday May 13th at 11 a.m.
