Obituary of Ivy Ellis

Ellis: Ivy Maude Passed away peacefully at her home, Crescent Park Lodge on Tuesday September 21st, 2010 in her 96th year. Loving wife of the late Alonzo. Proud mother of Edward Alonzo (Tess) Ellis. Cherished grandmother of Richard and Ryan Ellis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Thomas, Alfred and Walter and her sister Grace. Ivy was a Life Member of Br. #71 Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday September 23rd from 7-9 pm and at St. Paul's Anglican Church (Niagara Pkwy and Gilmore Rd) on Friday September 24th from noon until the time of service at 2 pm. Interment to follow in the Churchyard. If so desired, donations to the St. Paul's Anglican Church Roof Fund, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
