Obituary of Howard Chesney

CHESNEY, HOWARD: At the Hotel-Dieu Shaver Hospital on Saturday, April 17, 2010 in his 77th year. Husband of Margaret for the last 11 years. Loving father of Daniel of Fort Erie, Lisa Livingstone (Brad) of Stouffville, Kelly of Oshawa, Julie Moore (Scott) of Edmonton. Predeceased by Myrna Chesney in 1998. Proud and loving grandfather of Dalton Livingstone and Tristan Moore. Howard is survived by his sisters Shirley Athoe and Coralie Graham, brother Ken (Patricia) Chesney all of Fort Erie and many nieces and nephews whom Howie made a positive impact on their lives. Howie was a detective with the Niagara Regional Police for 35 years. At Howie's request, cremation has taken place. Howard's children have planned a service to celebrate Howie's life at the Benner Funeral Chapel 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie on Saturday May 29th 2010 at 11am. It is hoped that Howard's family and friends from years gone by will gather together to honour Howie and share stories of Howard which have shaped all of our lives. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Ward 2 East - Hotel-Dieu Hospital where Howie lived out his last three year would be greatly appreciated by the family.
