Obituary of Ann Elizabeth Vold

Vold, Ann Elizabeth passed away peacefully at Gilmore Lodge on February 22, 2019 at the age of 92. Loving wife to the late James Vold. Cherished mom to Grace Fraser and Ruth Vold Markle (Lloyd). Grandma to April Fraser Nunez (Fernando), Hope Fraser Clapp (Clark), Paul Ryan Faser, Lindsay Markle (Ben), Lloyd Stewart Markle (Laura), and Lyle James Markle (Anna) and great grandma to Orlando, Briana and Aiden Elizalde, Makayla Martinez, Fernando Jr., Priscilla, Emily and Logen Nunez, Griffen, Easton and Copper Clapp, and Ailda and Maggie Markle. Ann will always be remembered for her great sense of humour and her love for music, especially playing the piano. Ann was born in Vineland, New Jersey on July 11, 1926. She worked as a bell telephone operator, a private secretary and in a glass factory during the war. Ann graduated from the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music and taught piano for 40 years and while in college, received a certification for teaching religious education and taught at Ottawa Valley Bible College. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie has been entrusted with the arrangements. A time to meet with the family and to celebrate the life of Ann will take place on Monday, March 4, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
