Obituary of Wesley Charles Rogers

Rogers: Wesley Surrounded by the presence and love of his family Wesley passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie on Sunday November 6th, 2011 in his 99th year. Predeceased by his first wife Mary Louise and his second wife Gwendolyn Elsie. Loving father of Janice (Neil) Reichelt of Fort Erie, Richard (Karen) Rogers Fort Erie, Hugh (Eleanor) Rogers of St. Catharines, Carol (Orville) Sider of St. Catharines and Walter Rogers of Vineland. Cherished grandfather of Heather (Tom) Light, Kevan (Dorie Ellen) Reichelt, Kathleen Reichelt, Laurie Rossiter, Richard Rogers, Heidi (Jim) Alty, Christine Pirson, Daniel (Stacey) Rogers, Stephen (Suejean) Rogers, Ted (Louise) Sider, Tim Sider and Nancy (Pat) Prue. Proud great grandfather of 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons. Also survived by his extended family and many friends including his dear friend and companion Ellen Bean. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9. Friends are then invited to visit at the Faith Reformed Church (3605 Black Creek Rd.) at noon on Wednesday until the time of service in the church at 1 pm. Interment to follow in McAffee Cemetery.
