Obituary of Douglas Carl Rogers

ROGERS, Douglas Carl - passed away peacefully at Douglas Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Caroline Carlo-Rogers. Beloved youngest son of the late Marguerite Grace Rogers. Loving brother of Sharon Lawrence (Jack) of Trenton, Larry (Judy) of Campbellford, Beverly Ann Lounsbury of Dundas and Helen LaPierre (David) of S. Surrey, B.C. Dear brother-in-law of Barbara Marks (Gerry) and Rose Hobbs (Doug). He will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will be sadly missed by his beloved Shelties, Mya and Abbie and was predeceased by Sophie and Shelbie. A very special thank you to Dr. Scher and Dr. Alyfayedh, the attendants of the E.M.S., Nurses Morgan, Ashley, Joyce and Kate and everyone at the Douglas Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit. A service to celebrate Doug's life will be announced at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society or Fort Erie S.P.C.A.
