Obituary of Rita Agnes Zampaloni

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at Gilmore Lodge on December 8, 2016 at 78 years of age. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bob and daughter-in-law Rose. Rita is survived by her children Karen (Gary) Lightheart, Kevin Zampaloni, Craig (Julie) Zampaloni and Catharine Zampaloni. She will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews and their children. Rita was a vibrant woman who loved gardening, bingo and country music, especially George Jones. She was known to go everywhere with her harmonica and with a little encouragement, would happily entertain her family and friends by playing the spoons. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Road, Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive visitors on Friday, December 9th from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 10th at 11 am, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
