Obituary of John Arthur Sanelli

Sanelli : John John's brave struggle came to an end on September 11, 2018 at the Maple Park Lodge while he was surrounded by the love of his family. Much loved husband of Louise. Cherished father of Roy (Dianne) and Lynn. Beloved brother of Frank (Dorothy), Bob (Cam) and Nancy Avenus as well as the late Albert. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. John was well known in horseracing as a longtime Trainer and owner and will be missed by his many friends at Fort Erie and Woodbine. Benner Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 22nd from 1-4 pm. The family extend their appreciation to the staff of Maple Park Lodge who provided John with compassionate and dignified care throughout his stay. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fort Erie SPCA or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
