Eleanor Lewis 2010-06-04 Lewis, Eleanor After a long battle with cancer Eleanor was called home June 4th, 2010 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the Late William "Bill”. Loving mother of Martha (Bob) Clendening, Warren (Susan) Lewis, Mary (Gerry) Sergenese and Matthew (Beth) Lewis. Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Andrea) and Derek Clendening, Kevin and Sarah Lewis and Stephen Sergenese. Proud Great grandmother of Owen and Emma Clendening. Predeceased by her sister Florence Shortiss. Eleanor was a long time and proud member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church serving on the Alter Guild for 50 years. She was a well known local artist. Her paintings warmed the hearts of many and brought fond memories of days gone by. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9. Funeral Services will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Fort Erie on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow in St. Paul’s Churchyard. If so desired, donations to the St. Paul’s Anglican Church Roof Fund would be appreciated by the family.
