Obituary of Suzanne Eleanor Puhakka

Puhakka : Suzanne Suzanne's courageous battle came to an end at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the age of 60. Proud mother of Melisa (Vincent) Poiraudeau, Marie Yandeau (Phil Brown) and Mindy (Dustin) Leveille. Loving grandmother of Jessika, Kolin, Braidon, Britney, Kyle, Cole, Preston, Samantha, Louise, Neveah, Jake, Brooke, Isabelle and Luke. Survived by her siblings George (Cecile) Hurteau, Bill (Fran), Pansy (Ross) Dorion, Bonnie Ragoza, Wayne (Diane) Puhakka, Robert (Monique) Puhakka and Patrick (Joane) Puhakka. She is fondly remembered by many friends especially Edward Yandeau, Darlene Collins, Tammy, Serge, Amanda and Kassandra Cote as well as numerous friends and extended family. Predeceased by her son Giles Yandeau, parents Muriel and Eric, siblings Orville, Gail and Juanita. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. A Service to Celebrate Suzanne's life will take place in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Saturday October 29th at 4 pm. Friends are invited to visit starting at 3 o'clock. Suzanne served as the secretary and a trusted board member for the Niagara Area Children's Assistance Program (NACAP). If so desired, the family would appreciate memorial donations to NACAP.
