Obituary of Vera Anne Brown

Passed away suddenly as the result of a tragic automobile accident on Friday October 16, 2009. Vera is predeceased by her husband Wesley Brown. Loving mother to Connie Barnes of Crystal Beach, Carrie Schneider of Sherkston and Kim (Dale) Davis of Chippawa. Proud Nanny of Terri Barnes, Shelby Desson and Ross Davis and great grandmother of Brandon Near. Sadly missed by her brother Jack Winger and her brothers in law, Lloyd Brown and Jim Brown. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and several close friends especially Merilyn Athoe. Predeceased by her great grandson Wilton Near, sisters Ruth Webb and Joan Winger and brother in law Clarke Brown Vera loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a very loving and giving person who had a passion for life and a passion for fashion. She had many dear friends, some since kindergarten and others that she made while doing the things she loved, traveling, shopping, playing cards, bowling and lounging by her pool. Her kind nature will be remembered by all that knew her. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7-9 and on Tuesday from 1 pm until the time of Funeral Services in the Benner Funeral Chapel at 2 o??â„¢clock. Cremation will follow. If so desired, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
