I had the opportunity to meet, chat and drive Lt Maurier around last summer and just the other day. He was kind, and thoughtful and loved the cadet program! He was one who always wore a smile. Rememberance is the greatest gift you have! Thank you for touching my life - even if it was only a brief moment in passing! Cheers!

Sharon, the passing of George has come as quite a shock . As I search for something to say I'm reflecting upon The Masonic Teaching, which George has shown. time and time again. Masonry teaches man to practice charity and benevolence,
to protect chastity, to respect the ties of blood and friendship.
George and I shared good times and laughs while in Montreal and on the road. Our thoughts are with you.

When one soldier falls, we all loose a piece of ourselves. Rest dear soldier, you have done your time and trained our cadets well.
As a veteran, the loss hits home hard for me.
When my son Geoff called me from Blackdown in tears and told me what happened, I could only cry with him. Geoff really loved George.
Know that every day a piece of him lives on thru the children that he has taught over the years. It is that kind of strength and dedication that will see us all thru.
Lest we forget.
