Tim, Cathy, Penny and families,
Your parents were both wonderful people, and I know that they were very proud of all of you. I loved the time that I was able to work at Nicholls' Marine. They held my job for me for almost six months when I got sick, and during the Blizzard of 1977, your Dad refused to sell my Dad a snowmobile because he knew that my Dad had never driven one, and that he did not have the proper clothing , equipment or even know where to look for me when I was stranded. I believe that Blake probably saved my Dad's life. I also know that Pat and Blake started Nicholls' Marine on $500.00 and they worked very hard to get everything that they had. They were true sole mates and were always willing to give good advise when asked. I feel so bad for all of you.

We only met Blake on a few occasions, but he was always so interesting to talk to and so very interested in everything.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Blake?s passing. He was a positive contributing members to the Fort Erie community and a true gentlemen. Even though he and I held different political stripes I always enjoyed our conversations in passing and his straight forward honest approach to the issues at hand.
