Obituary of Julia Joanna Innes

Innes: Julia “Piorkowski” After a courageous battle with cancer, Julia passed away at the Douglas Memorial Hospital on Wednesday February 23rd, 2011 at the age of 53.  Proud mother of James (Christina) Piorkowski.  Cherished sister of Frank (Linda) Piorkowski and Cathy (Oscar) Ettinger.  Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Predeceased by her parents Flora and Frank Piorkowski.  Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.  Interment will take place at McAffee Cemetery.  A service to celebrate Julia’s life will be held in the Benner Funeral Chapel on Monday February 28th at 4 pm, followed by an opportunity to share stories and refreshments.  If so desired, contributions in Julia’s memory to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Fort Erie S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family.
