Obituary of Charles Henry Hanes

Charles passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday December 21st, 2013 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents Louise and Charles Henry Hanes Sr. He is sadly missed by siblings George Hanes, Carol (Don) Hanes-Taggart, Rosemary Hanes, Nora (Terry) Moore and Susan McNamara as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Hanes-Warner. Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Private family services will be held, followed by interment in St. John's Ridgemount Cemetery. If so desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. The family extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kim of Fort Erie and to Dr. Blair Leonard and the outstanding nurses and support staff of the Medical Oncology Palliative Care Unit at St. Catharines General Hospital for the dignified care you provided Charles in his last days.
