My late brother, Larry and I, grew up across the street from the Bythell family on Spears Road. Along with my parents, Grace and George Peterson, we had fond memories of Jon, his siblings and parents. We were playmates and enjoyed skating on the outdoor rink, swinging on the tire swing, playing outdoors until dark, and in each other’s homes. Larry and Jon played sports together, camped in the woods and played ping pong and weight lifted in our basement, where I’d attempt to eavesdrop and spy on them, as a younger sister would! My husband, who also grew up in Fort Erie, and I send sincere condolences to Jon’s family.

Thanks Joanne for this. It is nice to see photos that I never have before and learn new things about dad. His son, Allen.
