Johanna began her Journey to reach her evening star with God leading the way on May 5th, 2024 at the age of 90. Left here to appreciate the Love given and received are her daughters, Bernice (Jeff) Edmunds and Sharon (Mike) Caughell. Sadly missed by grandchildren Michael, Matthew (Elishya), Jeffrey (Kelly), Kourtney (Jake) and great grandchildren Theo, Chloe, Cameron and Wren. Also survived by brothers Bill, Herman, Gerry, John, sisters Wilma, Diane and her large extended family. Predeceased by siblings Tony and Mary.
Johanna immigrated from The Netherlands in 1956, settling in Fort Erie in 1969. She used her skills as a seamstress and bookkeeper to provide a loving upbringing to her family. She gave back to her community as an Opti-Mrs member and to her church as a dedicated member of the CWL.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements where Funeral Services followed by a reception and burial will take place on Saturday May 25th beginning at 11 o'clock.
