Peacefully with family by his side, George passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 in his 83rd year.
Pre deceased by and joyfully reunited with his son Paul Martin, his first wife Mary Allison and his step-daughter Lisa Barnes.
He will be deeply missed by his reunited high school sweetheart and wife, Marilyn Bell Allison. George was the proud father of Tracy Allison, Brian Allison and Suzanne Beausoleil. Loving grandpa to Graham, Tiffany, Brittany, Laura, Matthew, Meghan, Kylie, Blake, Jenna, Tyler and Bailey and to his precious great-grandchildren.
In his younger years, George served in the Canadian Navy and later retired as an OPP Officer. He was a long standing Mason and member of the Eagle Lodge Hunt Club, two organizations that he held near and dear to his heart. A true outdoorsman, George could most always be found casting a line on his favourite lake, or hunting up north with friends. He loved a good catch and a good meal, but above all, he loved his family.
Benner Funeral Services entrusted with arrangements. A private family service will be held at a later date. In memory of George, donations made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, would be appreciated by his family.
