Anna and I were devastated to hear the news of John's passing. Even though John had prepared us for what was happening; it still came as a shock. We send our love and condolences to John, Gerry, Angie, Carter and family during this difficult time. We can't imagine the hole that has been left in their hearts after loosing both parents in a such a short period. Their absence will leave a void in our lives forever.

Our sincere condolences to Johns Family at this very difficult time.
I met his wife Donna first she was my boss at work ,we became good friends very quickly and remained so for the last 22 years .
She became a best friend so of course we came to know John too .My fondest memories are the days we spent in their beautiful garden ,watching our sister borders collies running around happily playing together .John would make us tea and bring it out with cookies too.
John had a great sense of humour and a lively interest in all that was going in the political world which led to many conversations.
When Donna became ill I saw a completely devoted husband who looked after her in every way he could and he was devastated when she passed away .
John and Donna were close friends to us if you required any help they were there.
They were also very proud parents of Gerry and Johnny .
They counted themselves very blessed when their daughter in law Angie joined the family ,then the joy of both their lives little Carter..
They say you should never judge someone by what they have but by the hole they leave behind .
For my husband and I they leave a big hole in our hearts.We will never forget you and will miss you
Rest in peace united again .

Our deepest condolences to John Jr.,Gerry, Angie and precious Carter. Gerry, Rick, Angel (Mark) and family. John was a wonderful person, we would text each other and he would always say how blessed and thankful he was for his beautiful family. You are in our thoughts RIP my cousin

Sending heartfelt condolences to his family. I have fond memories of both John and Donna as they brought me to Niagara Falls for a summer to watch the boys when they were little. John and Donna treated me as if I were their own, I will cherish so many happy memories of my time spent with them.

John has been part of our family since he starting dating Donna when he was just 17. Donna and John met at a party they knew then they were meant to be. When John passed away it left a big void in our family. From our younger years of swimming in the pool to shoveling snow and John sleeping on the coach because we just finished watch Black Christmas, and Donna was too scared to let him go home.
