We are devastated at the loss of a wonderful and kind young man who lived life with zest and zeal. The loving son of Darlene and the late Harold Collins. He will be sadly missed by siblings Tanya (Jason) Overholt and Julie Collins. He simply adored his nieces Miranda and Kathleen as well as great nephew Jayce and great niece Kinsleigh. There is a huge hole in the life of his four legged pal Budi. He has an extended family and friends that encouraged him as he made his way through life and around the world. A life that took him across Canada and to Australia. He spent the last portion of his life surrounded by family and the outstanding staff of the Greater Niagara General Hospital who we appreciate so very much.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. Family and friends will gather and visit at the funeral home between 6 and 7 pm on Tuesday August 15th. A funeral will take place at 7 pm and will be available on the Facebook page of the funeral home as well. COPE was always there when Shawn required their help, we would ask you to support them in memory of Shawn with contributions.
