Obituary of Laurie (Laura) Canavan

July 16, 1950 - July 31, 2023

We are heartbroken at the sudden passing of our mother, grandmother and sister Laurie (Laura) Canavan 'nee Kinghorn".  Reunited with her late Husband Ron (2021).  The proud and dedicated mother of Michael Canavan, Reid (Katy) Canavan, Rhonda (Mike) Rivers, and Carly (Rob) Canavan-Larocque. Her life was brightened by her 7 grandchildren Arianna, Aidan, Kyle, Curtis, William, Carter and Maximus who she adored.  Her stories will be told by her siblings Linda (Robert) Learn, Laird (Lesley) Kinghorn, David (Kathy) Kinghorn and Diane (Brian) Learn, as well as her large extended family of inlaws, nieces and nephews. 

Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.  The family will recieve friends on Friday August 4th from 11:30 until the time of a service in the Chapel at 1 o'clock.  Graveside services to follow at McAffee Cemetery.  If wishing to honour Laurie with a memorial contribution the family asks that you consider Hospice Niagara's fundraising for the Willson site in Fort Erie
