I am so saddened to hear of Maria's passing. Maria shared her love and compassion for others by being a Respite Companion with the Niagara Region's Senior's Community Programs for a number of years. Going into peoples home who live with dementia to befriend them and give their Care Partners such needed relief. Maria's smile and kindness made her perfect for the role. She left only when her own family needed her, but, not without encouraging her wonderful sister Linda to join us. Maria you are fondly remembered at the program and by the families whose lives you touched. Rest in the arms of God and watch over all your loved ones as the angel you have always been.
