Surrounded by her loving husband and family Catherine passed away on Monday May 1st at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. Beloved wife of Jack. Sadly missed by her ten siblings, Mark (Cindy Frank), Mary (Ron Murphy), Timothy, Margaret (Walter Neubauer) Claude (Debbie Berkhout), Claire (Ron Massolin) John (Fatima Andrade), Philip (Anne McIntosh), David (Michèle Scullion) and Chris. Cathy’s life often revolved around her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews who have all benefited from her love and support and will continue to tell her stories and cherish her memory.
Catherine is reunited with her parents Gerard and Elizabeth.
Community and service to others were Catherine’s passion. She dedicated endless hours to St. Michael’s Church, St. Vincent DePaul and Strong Fort Erie Neighbourhoods to provide opportunities and to make the lives of those less fortunate better.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements.
The family will receive friends on Friday May 5th from 1-3 and 5-8. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
