Phillips: John
John passed away at the age of 99 at Northland Pointe in Port Colborne. Predeceased by his first wife Betty Phillips (nee Marsden) of Timmins, Ontario and his second wife Caroline “Mary” in 2016. Cherished father of Irene Seguin of Crystal Beach and Jean (Ronald) Noordhoff of Crystal Beach and Step Father to Linda Turner of Fort Erie, Sadly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
John was proud of his service Naval Services for England during WWII. The family extend their appreciation to the wonderful staff of Northland Pointe especially Dr. Wilson for the care and attention.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends Tuesday September 27th from noon until the time of service in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment to follow. If so desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Resident’s council at Northland Pointe would be appreciated.
