Earle, Clayton Marvin
It is with great sadness that the family of Clayton Marvin Earle announce his peaceful passing in his 89th year on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
Clayton was a loving husband of 68 years to Gloria and a loving and devoted father to sons Mark (Catherine), Timothy (predeceased), Chris (Patty), Patrick (Monica), and daughter Rachal (Robert). He was a loving grandfather to 14 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
He enjoyed visits from friends and family and shared stories of his childhood with them. In addition, he shared his years of experience and words of wisdom with family members teaching them the important things.
In 1959 Clayton was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and one of his greatest joys was to ride his bike along the Friendship Trail, sharing his faith with the many people he met. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors and appreciated the beauty of the Friendship Trail and trips up north.
Many friends and family will miss Clayton, his blue eyes, beautiful smile and heartfelt laugh.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Douglas Memorial Hospital for their care and compassion over the years.
