Obituary of James Reginald Burns

James (Jamie) Reginald Burns passed away at the age of 60 with his children by his side after a hard fought battle with cancer. Jamie is survived by his parents Patricia and Reginald Burns and his siblings Valerie, Todd and Marylynn. Predeceased by his sister Julie. Jamie also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored him. Jamie was a loving father to his children Stephanie (Bryan) Murray and Tyler (Emily) Burns. Lovingly referred to as Bim Bim by his treasured grandchildren Jack, Makenna and Camden. Jamie’s greatest joy in life was being a grandpa. A life long resident of Fort Erie, Jamie spent many years involved with Fort Erie Minor hockey and his love for coaching and the Toronto Maple leafs were evident to all who knew him. He had a passion for coaching and made a difference in the lives of so many. He will be missed by his many friends especially, Teddy. Special thanks goes out to Dr. Scher and Nurse Katie.

In keeping with Dads wishes cremation has taken place. Due to covid protocols a Graveside Ceremony will take place on Thursday July 8th, 2021 by invitation only.
