I was so deeply saddened to hear about your mom Grace, Marge, Nancy and families. She was a special lady to everyone that knew her. We used to have so much fun when we worked a charity bingo with Nick ,Theresa and some of the other family. Lots of great memories to treasure! She will truly be missed. So sorry to hear of Tante Theresa's passing. We called her Tante even though we are not blood family. Our parents were both immigrants with most of their family back in Holland so the friends they had in Canada were their family and support group. I have fond memories of your Mom while we were all growing up. She was a wonderful person with a quick smile and big heart where family meant everything. She also had a special bond especially with my Mom who spoke of her often and referred to her as her Canadian sister ! Our condolences go out to all of you.

I was saddened to hear of Theresa's passing I just spoke with her on the phone maybe 1-2 weeks ago .We planned to meet for coffee when things opened.

My Deepest sympathies to all of the Langelaans, and Ma L's family in Holland. Ma L was a special person indeed. Her list of the things that she loved in her notice were spot on. Its exactly how I will remember her. She loved her family and Grand kids more than words could ever express. I remember that many years ago that Friday, was her day to watch the grand kids. A couple of toddlers, one or two in the play pen all out by the pool in her care enjoying a beautiful summer day. How she loved that. She will be missed by many. As soon as you entered their home she made you feel warm, welcome and included. She loved everybody. Remembering her as I do, after observing her qualities, I think she would offer a couple of pieces of advice to us all, "treat everyone you meet with kindness and an open heart", and "never miss an opportunity to spend time with family". Its really the only thing that matters.
May you lean on one another for support and know that our prayers and sympathies are with you all. Hold on tight to all of those beautiful memories.
