Jill Elizabeth Ferneyhough

January 18, 1966 – March 21, 2021

Jill transitioned from this life due to complications of ALS. She is survived by her mother Irmgard Fohr and predeceased by her father David Ferneyhough (2020). She is survived by her stepmother Gloria, her brother Jodie (Monica), and sister Julie (Cleo). She is also survived by her nephews Elliot (Urooj) and Evan (Katie), nieces Morgan (Josh), Casey, Claire and Sydney as well as her beautiful great-nephew Maytham. She will be fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. Special thanks to her loving friend Cathy. Jill was a teacher with the Niagara Catholic District School Board. Thank you for the care of Dr. John Turnbull and his staff – Barb Miller, Jenneca Herceg and Barb Arvai. Additional thanks go to Dr. Scher and Nurse Alex Korten. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Niagara Falls on Tuesday March 23 at 11 a.m.  Covid restrictions in place, please call the funeral home to be make arrangements if you wish to attend.    You can view the service at your convenience on Jill’s obituary site at www.bennerfuneralservices.ca.  When possible, a celebration of Jill’s life will be held. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the ALS Society or to unisonfund.ca (Jodie’s charity). Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Benner Funeral Services in Fort Erie.

So now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. But the greatest of these is Love.
